Winning streak continues for the U13G Hawks

We welcomed Harpenden to the lower pitch on a very hot Sunday morning.
They won the toss and decided to field first. Our batting pairs all did a fantastic job, clocking up 115 runs between them. Notable scores from Emilia (26), Evie (25), Mimi (18) and Ella (13). We only conceded 2 wickets so our final run total was 105. That, plus their extras meant we finished on a competitive score of 343/2.
Our fielding was pretty awesome! 11 wickets really kept Harpenden's net score down. Imi's wicket keeping confidence is growing game by game and she kept the byes to a real minimum.
Notable fielding mentions include: Grace with a wicket maiden, a maiden over from Flo, a lovely caught and bowled by Poppy and a fantastic catch by Mimi. Ella really nailed her throw-ins with 2 brilliant run-outs from quite a distance. That, along with steady batting, earns Ella POM. Very well done Ella. Those throws were epic!!
