Great win for U12s vs Harpenden

Captain Millie Siggins won the toss and elected to field, the girls bowled really well, in particular Catherine Clune taking three wickets in an over and notably fewer wides. A highlight was a great catch by Lily Gray from Catherine's bowling which in end was critical to the final result. Harpenden Huskies making 273 for 5. In reply BSCC accumulated runs steadily with the key final partnership between Millie and Poppy O'Toole seeing us to the win with 281 for 4. The Girls learnt how important good fielding and thoughtful batting is to win games, but bowling less extras and taking more wickets was key to the win.
