U9s at Broxbourne

On s very windy evening we chose to bowl first and Aaron took an early thanks to a catch by Freddie who also took a wicket himself as did Brandon and Bradley but those bowling int the wind found it difficult to control the ball as we gave them 15 wides and 2 no balls (34 runs) so they ended on 247-4 which seemed a gettable target. The first 2 pairs Aaron and Lucas, Iestyn and Bradley did well not losing a wicket and took us to 226 at halfway. Teddy hit 9 runs but was out caught once but with Freddie we got to 240. Alfie and Brandon batted well but were both out bowled by good deliveries and a silly run out left us 9 short at the close.
