BSCC U9s START WITH A SOLID WIN

The U9 were very excited to be playing their first match of the season and put in a strong performance against Sawbridgeworth. Sawbridgeworth chose to field and the first three pairs of Stortford batters started steadily. Harry, Rohan, Henry and Rupert all finding the boundary. The last pair James and Dylan then pushed the score on with seven boundaries in their 4 overs taking Stortford to 300.

In the field all of the team bowled consistently and tightly taking 13 wickets with their bowling and also getting 2 run outs. Rohan and Dylan both took 3 wickets with the remainder spread amongst the team. They also did a great job as a team in bowling tightly and keeping the extras down. The highlight of the fielding performance was a catch from James on the long on boundary.
