Back to winning ways - BSCC U9s beat Hoddesdon by 25 runs...

BSCC U9s (275/4) comfortably beat Hoddesdon (250/3) to get back to winning ways!

BSCC batted strongly putting together 275 runs for 4 wickets, with Cameron leading the run fest again with 12 runs and everyone else chipping in nicely. Hoddesdon bowlers struggled with line and length bowling 22 wides and 11 no balls, which actually made it tricky for our batters to settle in.

In reply, BSCC bowled and fielded much better than the Sawbo game last week, with only 12 wides. Then there were good performances by all, including a bowled wicket by Alicia, excellent maidens by Austin & Daniel, a fantastic run out by William and a 'salmon like' diving catch by Daniel off Cameron. Hoddesdon batters did not have an answer and finished somewhat short with 250 runs.

Half way through the season, BSCC U9s sit second in the league, with 3 wins out of 4 games.
