BSCC U9s win easily against Hertford 2s

BSCC U9s (289/4) team comfortably beat Hertford 2 (235/11), mainly thanks to an unbeaten 24 runs (all 4s!) and 3 wickets by Cameron with his fractured thumb! Everyone else contributed with a solid performance, particularly in the bowling department taking 8 wickets off the first 8 overs and keeping things tight. There is already a marked improvement in the fielding department; with 4 catches, 2 run outs, good backing up and plenty of energy. Field positions need a bit of work, as some players are clustering together, drifting out of position or not knowing where to stand at the end of each over - maybe this can be covered in the next few coaching sessions.
