So Close!!

A loss is hard to take at any time. But you have to feel for the U9 team who played against Sawbridgeworth and lost by ONE run!!

It was a friendly game...but make no mistake our U9's weren't complacent.

Jonathan Bird and George Baldock managed to take a wicket each. George also had a catch. It was an impressive fielding display. Your coach has asked to keep practising at home or in the nets on your bowling. There were a few too many wides on the evening. That goes for ALL of the U9's.
Without the practice, we won't improve.

Batting...solid performances by everyone in their pairs. Fours went to Talal and Ted Russell. Well done U9's.

Congratulations has to go to our 2 Mini Squad debutants. Well done Sonny Cahill, Harry Pettipher and Harry Baldock. You all played brilliantly and I hope you enjoyed yourselves.
