U10 Incrediball Qualify for Finals Day

The U10s put in a really solid performance showing all of the skills that they have learnt over the course of the season. We batted first. Max and Wilson put on a fine partnership of 26 without losing a wicket. Sam and Ridley batted solidly but lost a couple of wickets to some good fielding by Harpenden. Jamie and Thomas then accelerated the scoring with 4 boundaries between them putting on 31 for the loss of only one wicket. Henry and Rohan kept the momentum up with a partnership of 28 with Rohan top scoring with 19.

Max and Wilson gave us a great start with the ball each taking a wicket in their first overs and restricting the opening pair to just six. A run out and further wickets from Henry Rohan, Ridley, Sam and James kept the lid on Harpenden's innings and we closed out a really solid win. I was particularly impressed by the way the boys kept their concentration in the field. Ridley with 3 wickets and some excellent fielding led the way. James also bowled very tightly and closed the match out with 2 wickets for 3 runs.
