U10s through to County Finals AGAIN!

Old Albanians won the toss and put BSCC in. As per the last few matches Ed gave us a blistering start with 4 boundaries in the first over and put on a 33r partnership with Cam. The momentum was kept up with Matt hitting 18r and building a 24r partnership with Cass. Felix and Oss did not slow down either scoring 27r together. Finally, Daniel and Shaurya drove the final nails in the coffin with this year's highest partnership of 46r, which included Daniel's first 6 and the team also scoring its highest total of 330/3!

Our bowling was also very strong with Cam and Cass picking up two wickets each and Dan, Shaurya & Felix one each. Ossie had another side-on single wicket runout - he is becoming an expert on running outs! Cass took a nice catch and Matt was solid behind the wickets again. There was plenty of energy in the field, brilliantly led by Oss again.

This was almost a flawless performance by ALL the players and fantastic to see how much they have progressed since last year. They truly deserve to make the finals for the second year running. If we perform anywhere near what we did today, then we do have a fantastic chance to some silverware - tbh I'll be much happier watching the boys win the Herts league than England win the World cup!!!
