Nailbiting incrediball game ends with BSCC U10s win

Bowling highlights: Thomas (2o-1w-0r), George W (2o-1w-16r) and Alicia, Dexter & pacey Lilley gave away only handful of runs.

N Enfield won the toss and elected to bowl. George gave BSCC a perfect start with attacking strokes and 3 mighty 4s. Some solid batting in the middle followed and a strong finish by Ed C (10r-1w) left BSCC with a respectable 273/6 total. And of course there was the 38 extras which helped!

In reply N Enfield got rather stuck in first gear with some tight bowling, fielding (2 run outs) and bowler friendly pitch, managing only 253/4.

The pitch was rather disappointing and to be honest dangerous. Ed was struck by unusual rising deliveries hitting his jaw and chest, whilst some balls flew over players' heads and others rolled along the ground. A shortened pitch for this year also did not help. This issue needs to be looked at very carefully by the club and rectified before the next incrediball match on Thurs 30th.
