Easy win for BSCC confirms play-off spot - Well done all!

BSCC had been beaten by Broxbourne at the home fixture, so we went there with a strong side looking for revenge! BSCC won the toss and put Broxbourne in on another hot and sunny summer evening.

BSCC bowled and fielded well again with Daniel and Ed picking up a wicket each followed by Felix and Cassidy taking two wickets each to limit Broxbourne to a below par 240/7. Cassidy was very close to getting our first hat-trick - a great example of line & length bowling!

In reply, BSCC started slow with both Daniel and Cameron getting out once after 4 overs with the score on 208/2. Ossie and Felix steadied the ship with a confident 33 run partnership, followed by further 13 runs by Harrison and Cassidy taking the score to 254/3. Stanley and Ed got the green light to express themselves and Stanley did exactly that, dispatching four boundries and top scoring with an impressive 22 runs. BSCC ended with a majestic 288/3 to cement our place at the top of the league and reach the play-off stage.
