Tuesday's game at Hertford came to a dramatic conclusion going down to the last ball with Hertford needing 2 runs to win.
Unfortunately for BSCC, the Hertford batsman hit a fantastic strike down the ground for 4 to win the game for the opposition. Whilst we didn't manage to win the game, we gave ourselves a great chance thanks to a fantastic final over from Ben Foster with Ben taking 2 important wickets to give us a late lead, albeit in vain.
Every player contributed something throughout the game, whether it be Oliver Wilding's 2 wickets for very few runs or Jamie Ward's 5 boundaries from 14 balls faced, it was a great team performance!
The main area we can work on this Sunday is our fielding, particularly walking in whilst the bowlers runs up and backing up throws at the stumps.
Overall I was proud of the team's effort against a very good Hertford side and hope we can win the next game!
