A wonderful team display by all!!

What a day!! We won't say anymore about the pre-match shenanigans!!

Captain: Liam Mays
Stortford won the toss and sent OA's in to bat first.

What can I say about our bowlers today??? WOW!!
Absolutely everybody was on target today. Only 8 Wides bowled by the team which made a huge difference....and then there were the wickets!! One wicket for Tally and Benjamin, a Maiden for Thomas, a Maiden Wicket for Liam and Aidan took a Maiden Wicket and a double Maiden Wicket!! Incredible!!
Wicket Keeper: Matthew. Great job again Matthew and backed up well by your team. Very impressive fielding all round which was very organised. Under the watchful eye of their Captain (Liam) who lead from the front...communicated and praised his team constantly and was a superb Captain on the day>

OA's 210/6

Stortford in to bat.
1st pairing: Tally & Benjamin. Great communication and very solid start to settle the team. 13pts from this pairing.

2nd pairing: Alex & Jamie. Great pairing again. A boundary for Alex and some great batting from Jamie too picking up valuable points. 15 pts gained.

3rd pairing: Liam & Matthew. Excellent batting and calling from this pair. Three boundaries from Liam and steady runs from Matthew. 24 pts earned.

4th pairing: Aidan and Thomas. Again fantastic work from this pairing. Four boundaries from Aidan and 1 from Thomas...who was inches away from a second!! Great work boys. 22 pts from this pair.

BSCC 266/4

MOM...Liam Mays and Aidan Murphy. But I'd say the whole team could share the honours here as well!!

Thank-you to Graeme for umpiring and coaching. We won't mention the car journey!!
