Bishop's Stortford won the toss and chose to field first.

All bowlers played their part. Kieran took two wickets, Alex bowled a Maiden and Tally, Liam and Angus also took a wicket each. As the bowlers took their second or third over we were giving away far fewer Wides and No Balls which was great to see. Matthew did very well as wicket keeper and not very much got past him as he got into the game.

Stortford then came to the crease.
First pairing: Kieran and Angus. A good solid start and a pairing that was very secure to lay the important first groundwork. Their 4 overs earned the team 16pts
Second pairing: Alex and Tally. Two great boundaries by Alex. Sadly, some great bowling meant we lost three wickets in succession.
Third pairing: Liam and Matthew. Again a good solid pairing, losing only one wicket, but coming back with seven, hard fought single runs against some good bowling. 13 pts added to the score.
Final pairing: Jack and Aidan. Four boundaries hit in quick succession from Aidan, with Jack getting some well earned runs too. One wicket lost against some great bowling again. Great communication from this pairing adding 22 pts to the final score.
