U11B Lose Close Game At Reed

We had a very close game at Reed. Adi and Joseph S needed a couple of boundaries off the last over and could only get one. However, batting in the fading light had made the task that bit harder.

A tight bowling performance with wickets for Will, Alex, Reggie, Veer, Oliver, Adi, Joseph and two James (including a lovely high catch from Adi) had kept Reed to 265. This looked within reach for most of the innings with all of our pairs contributing. Alex, started well with a couple of boundaries and Adi finished the innings with two more but we fell four runs short in the end.( In this format that is just one wicket or one ball going to the boundary.)
