U11 Eagles 'make hay in the Braughing sunshine'

On the hottest day of the year so far, the U11 Eagles produced a sizzling display 'on the road' in Braughing this morning. Having lost the toss and sent in to bat, the 8 Eagles batsmen lost only 1 wicket in their 16 overs, amassing an imposing total of 303. Runs were shared with Max M, Seb P, Fynn O'D, Charlie and Sam all scoring double figures.
The Eagles then backed up the good work in the field with all 8 bowlers bowling a good line and length. Ethan DT bowled with some real pace and consistency, as did Ethan H, Charlie and Fynn who all picked up 2 wickets apiece. Most impressive was the consistent backing up and solid catching and fielding. Well done to all and thanks to Simon Waugh for scoring.
