NORTH ENFIELD HIT 34 FROM FINAL 3 OVERS TO DEFEAT U11's

The U11 (8-a-side) Eagles were defeated for the first time this Summer, as North Enfield staged a stunning late fightback to secure victory yesterday evening.

The Eagles batted first and reached 248 for the loss of only 5 wickets. Jack T hit his first ever 4 and despite the score being only 205 at the half way stage, good partnerships from Thomas C / Frank P and then Toby R (23) / Luca L ensured a respectable total was set.

In reply, North Enfield always seemed to be behind the required rate, thanks to good bowling from Grace and Harry and also good work behind the stumps from Max.

However Alex from North Enfield batted quite brilliantly to plunder 34 from the last 3 overs, including 1 huge 6, to secure a deserved victory for the home side.
