Broxbourne v BSCC U11

We won the toss and elected to field and started well as Harrison and Will both took early wickets but a good partnership from 2 of their batsmen took them to 58 before another wicket fell. Both debutants Padraig and Caleb got a wicket each and Harrison came back to take his second wicket while Luca bowled 3 tight overs conceding only 5 runs. Unfortunately we gave away 30 runs in wides and no balls which allowed Broxbourne to post 96-5 in their 20 overs but this was a gettable target. Unfortunately our batting was very poor against some accurate bowling with 5 players making 0, 3 of which were 1st ball - we still struggle to defend a god straight delivery. Boundaries from Oliver, Will and 2 from Caleb plus 4 singles from Aaron and 2 from Padraig was the sum total of our efforts as we fell to 36 all out. We do need to improve this if we are to compete in future games.
