Tuesday's Match vs Stevenage

Tuesday was the beginning of real Cricket for all those that took part. 11-a-side gave them opportunity to bat for longer and start to understand the importance of their own wickets. We lost the toss and a good start from Euan and Charlie who ran well together. Euan hit the ball well and looked good at the crease after losing Charlie he was well supported by William PS. Euan was then dismissed and Freddie continued the good work and to only lose 2 wickets at this level was a good effort.

In reply we bowled and fielded really well. All the bowlers, Liam, Amber William PF, Harry, and Humza contributed giving few extras away. Adam was a safe pair of hands behind the stumps and we managed to take wickets at regular intervals. So overall a good win and more satisfying was that it was a good team performance that evidenced some real improvement from last year. This format of thegame will also accelerate their development far more than 8 a side.
