First game for U12's

Broxbourne won the toss and elected to bat second.

A fantastic debut for Aidan Murphy who was in first to bat and didn't disappoint. As a few of our team came and went in fairly quick succession, Aidan showed true strength of character that belied his tender years. Well done Aidan!!
Some good performances, but our batting really has to improve. Communication also needs to step up a gear from pairings with energetic runs, not leaving anything to chance!!
BS U12's 72/7

Some impressive bowling by all that stepped up. Broxbourne's first pairing were very strong and it took a while to remove them. After that, the wickets began falling. Two great catches by Adam in the field helped us on our way. Again, we must start communicating in the field. Far too many balls went through gaps. Captain's must take charge!! Don't be shy!!

Overall a reasonable start to our season with some weaknesses exposed and to be worked on by everybody.
