An excellent all round performance from Jack Williams was spoiled by our worst batting display of the season. Jack helped keep Sawbo down to 80-9 in their 20 overs with 3-15 in 4 overs, Hudson taking 2-11 and Ealey 1-22. Good to see Henry Kingston back after his broken arm and he celebrated with a wicket thanks to a smart one handed catch by Nathan Simons. The rain persisted all evening and everything was set for a win as Sawbo began with a wet ball but yet again we let them off the hook with some very poor shots and were bowled out for only 60 runs. Jack made 20 not out and Matthew Draper 15 with no-one else getting more than 6, in a woeful display.
Our chances of qualifying for the Qtr Finals have now gone so we just have 1 more game on Thursday to restore some pride.
