U11 girls win against Redbourn

The girls batted first with an impressive opening for Ava and Emily which continued through the subsequent pairings. Only one wicket was conceded through a catch. Fours scored by both Ava (1) and Sophia (3). Some difficult balls from a junior opposition didn't deter the girls with them finishing on 298.
In the second innings the girls continued on good form with some comprehensive fielding on display. Five wickets taken from Redbourn, one run out and two a-piece for Sophia and Ava. The girls communicated well and there was some excellent displays of backing up in the field to hold Redbourn to 258.
