U11 Girls win well vs St Albans

St Albans batted first an accumulated runs well, and Stortford struggled to take wickets, but excellent fielding and a well placed field helped to restrict St Albans to 270-2.
In reply, Stortford accumulated runs well with a lovely innings from Florence and some good hitting from Elsie, drawing us level with the St Albans total after 12 overs. However we forgot to defend our stumps and were also bowled out 4 times at this stage. Further wickets could cost us the match but Jemima hit 22 not out supported by Grace and the win was secured, with a final score of 304-5. More work on defense as well as attack is needed along with further work to eliminate wides and no-balls.
