
BSCC U11 girls won the league, qualifying 1st for the playoffs day.
Their semi final was against Letchworth. BS bowled first and what a performance it was! 16 wickets! Everyone bowled incredibly well. Amelie in particular with 3 overs, 3 wickets for 3 runs. Letchworth ending on 184. Next came the batting, with BS only losing 1 wicket. The whole team batted solidly and finished on 317 for a very convincing win.
Next came the final against Harpenden who had won it 2 out of the last 3 years and were a very strong team. BS bowled first and again bowled very well taking 8 wickets. Ziva with 3 overs, 3 wickets for 4 runs! BS kept Harpenden to a low score of 231. BS played some great shots during their innings. Esme and Nancy getting the team off to a flying start, Ziva and Martha carrying on the good work. Martha top scoring with 20 runs and hitting 4 boundaries. Annabel and Charlotte kept their partnership tight and Amelie and Freya finishing off the innings with some lovey hitting. Completing the victory with 289 runs in total!
This team have now trained together for 20 months and all of their hard work is now paying off! Well done BSCC U11 girls- Hertfordshire League Champions!!
