Having lost the toss and been put into bat the two's showed their class in a rain effected first innings led by Dean Lloyd (61) with another notable performances from Tommy Burslem reaching 187 for 7 in their allotted overs.

In reply, Bayford were no match for the quality of the bowling line up led by Ollie Williams, Chris Thomas and Dean Lloyd slumping to 70 for 9. Bayford put up quite a fight for the last wicket but finally the pressure was too much and they were bowled out for 98.
