U10 secured another comprehensive victory away from home in the incrediball league.
Wickets from Zafir, Freddie, Seb and Thabani plus a couple of run outs limited the home team's innings to 248/7. U10 were temporarily reduced to 7 in the field as Charlie left to receive treatment following a brave diving catch attempt at point. It was a trememndous effort and would have been a spectacular catch. Bad luck Charlie!
In reply, U10 batted very well on a dry wicket with an occasional uneven bounce. Playing his first game of the season, Archie hit 2 boundaries to top score with 14 not out as he and opening partner Thabani put 29 on the board without loss. Jasper and George also built a good partnership until George was undone by a very good delivery in the pair's final ball. Freddie hit 3 boundaries in typical style as he and Seb took U10 past the runs required. Final pair Zafir and Charlie completed the job against some good bowling. Charlie made the most of a couple of loose deliveries, sending them both to the boundary as U10 closed their innings on 277/4.
