U13 v Broxbourne

Another solid performance produced a 9 run win against Broxbourne. Winning the toss we batted first and Cameron led the way with an aggressive 30 closely followed by Ed who also retired. Monty made 18 and Felix 10 not out in a score of 107-3, which was a little below what I was hoping for. Our bowling has improved dramatically with everyone keeping the opposition quiet and well behind the required rate. William took the first wicket followed by 2 in an over for Stanley and Ossie bowled superbly taking 1 for 2 in his 2 overs. Monty and Cameron also took a wicket each and there were 2 excellent run outs. We lost our composure a bit as things got closer in the last 3 overs as we gave them a few wides and no balls to make the result closer than it should have been. Also well done to Felix for stepping in as wicketkeeper on the night.
