U13s v Reed

Reed won the toss and batted first but accurate bowling restricted their run scoring throughout as they lost regular wickets with 2 for James and Alex and 1 from Luca, Jack C, Will and Ben. The final wicket came for Oliver, bowling his first ball of the season, when a full toss was well caught by Max.
Oliver then set out the reply with 5 boundaries retiring on 26 not out with Luca making a steady 10 and Sam hitting 3 boundaries in his 22. The winning runs were hit with 8 overs to spare only 2 wickets down. Reed continued to finish their overs allowing Jack C and James to bat on - both were retired on 6 and 16 so others could get a knock. Freddie ended on 8 not out, Ben hit 3 quick boundaries and Alex hit 10 not out from the last 3 balls.. The official score recorded was 80-2 and a win by 8 wkts.
