Unfortunately we chose this game to put in our worst performance of the season. It started fairly well because after losing Joe early on Sam and Oliver took us to 42-1 after 6 overs. Oliver hit 5 boundaries in a rapid 30 not out but his retirement signalled a major collapse as no-one got in double figures. All 7 wickets lost were clean bowled highlighting a major problem in defending the straight ball as we could only get to 75 at the close. Our bowling lacked the accuracy required and our general fielding was poor meaning Shenley reached their target in the 10th over without losing a wicket. One to forget and hope for some improvement next time.
