U13A at Broxbourne

A display of very quick accurate bowling meant we only managed 44 all out despite being 30-1after 6 overs. Ben hit an aggressive 19 but was well caught on the boundary, Alex scored 11 before chipping a catch to midwicket and Harrison scored 5 and Joe H 2. Everyone else got a duck including 4 out first ball - it is fair to say some of the bowling was very good but some also played very poor shots. To their credit the boys stayed positive in the field and took 4 quick wickets, 2 to Joe H and 1 each for Tom and Harrison but it was never going to be enough. We can still finish 2nd in the group and possibly qualify for Qtr finals if we play well from here.
