BSCC U13 v Radlett

After winning the toss and batting first we came up against a very talented bowling attack with 3 quicks and a leg spinner and we did not perform to our best with no-one getting into double figures, Edward and Griff both scoring 9 runs. Our score of 55 all out was never going to be enough but in the end a heavy thunderstorm ended the game early with them 24-1 after 5 overs with Matthew picking up the wicket thanks to a comfortable catch by Liam.
Given the circumstances I felt it was right to concede the tie to Radlett as we had been thoroughly outplayed and there was little chance of us replaying the game before Sunday's Finals Day.
We can switch our thoughts to the U13 Summer league fixtures which are already on Pitchero.
