Broxbourne v BSCC U13

Stortford produced the worst display of cricket in 4 years of me running this team and were well beaten. Broxbourne chose to bat and started slowly but were helped all the way through with wayward bowling and poor fielding giving away 47 extras (22 wides, 9 no balls and 14 byes). We only took 3 wickets, one each for Finley, Matthew and Griff as they finished on 110-3 after 20 overs. We were all out for 57 in 11 overs thanks to an array of poor shots, hitting it in the air to fielders or just slogging across a straight ball to be bowled. Only Thomas made double figures with 10 so this was a game to forget and hope it has not damaged our chances of qualifying for the later rounds.
