BSCC U13s beat Hertford U13s by 53 runs

We lost the toss on a cold miserable evening and Hertford chose to bowl this gave us an advantage with the rain and bad light threatening to end our first league game. Liam and Benjy opened confidently hitting some bounders but Benjy being bowled. Aidan provided some excellent support to Liam who injured was shortly bowled. Aidan and Alex hit some excellent shots and great running both retired. Amber and Murray took over with some excellent boundaries but Amber was also unlucky. Murray and Kieran took over hitting some good boundaries.
Our superb tight bowling by Aidan, Alex, Kieran, Josh, Toby, Sam, Amber, Murray and a two great wickets from Liam and Teddy. Great wicket keeping by Benjy with two stumps and an excellent throw in by Murray.
Fantastic team work by all.
