Down to 10 men BSCC U13s still managed a convincing win with the help of 3 U12s and Matt Fosters little brother U9s Ben foster helping out in the field.
This resounding victory completes our very successful season and crowns us Group Winners. We now await our QF draw which I understand will be played at home. Date tbc.
We won the toss and put Hoddesdon into bat. Once again our bowling and fielding was excellent. All 9 players bowled at least 2 overs each which was great to see.

1 player retired not the out.
We decided to have a shake up at the top of the batting order and make a few changes from our usual batting order to give more players the chance to bat.
Aidan Murphy & Jared Bassingthwaite opened the batting. Aidan retired on 32 not out which included a huge 6 off what should have been a no ball (Bugsy was just too nice). Jared was caught for 5.
Thomas Fallan stepped up to bat (the highest he's been up the batting order) and was really unlucky to get run out without facing a ball. That's cricket for you!
Matt Foster 11 off 8 balls before being bowled
Billy Bays got a total of 24 not out (included 3 X 4s)
Jack Fraser Andrews 21 not out (included 4 X 4s).

A big thank you to all the players U12 & U13, Oh, and not forgetting BEN Foster who have helped us win our league and reach the Quarter Finals. You have all played your part brilliantly. Also thank you Bugsy for always being there and supporting us.
And finally a big thank you to the parents who have helped me in my role as manager with transporting the boys to away matches, umpiring and scoring when required to and especially for allowing some of the boys to play 4 games in a row this week.
WE DID IT!
