With me (Sam) running the U14A game at North Enfield, Pete Curtis kindly agreed to run the U14B game at home to St Margs.
According to Pete, the lads did a great job, putting in a competitive effort against a strong St Margs side. St Margs batted first and made 151 in their 20 overs, wickets were shared by Cameron Wach, Charlie Fair, Jonty Crow and 2 wickets for Jamie Paramo.
In response, Jake Curtis batted well for his 30*, supported by Ollie Foot (21) and Cameron Wach (15) as we made 125 in our 20 overs.
In the future, we'll look to reduce our wides, work harder in the field to stop any easy runs and then we'll be very competitive in this league!
Thanks again to Pete for running the game. We know look forward to going to Broxbourne away on Monday evening.
