Combined U12-U15 BSCC team beats Thorley CC by 70 Runs

What started out as a U14 friendly match soon became a combined team of 1 x U15, 4 x U14s, 5 x U13s and 1 x U12.

We won the toss and sensibly chose to bat with rain and bad light threatening to put an early end to proceedings.
However, we managed to play out the whole match and set a target of 138/6 for Thorley to chase.

My highlight of the match was the fantastic diving 1 handed catch from Harry Warnes. The look on the batsmans face was priceless!

Having only 6 U14s this season in our squad we will be calling up at least 5 U13s for every match and judging by the performance today of all the boys I am quite confident that we can give any U14 team a run for their money this season.
