A clinical comprehensive bowling display was way too good for our opposition. Alex Portas bowled 3 overs for no runs with the batsmen only connecting with 2 deliveries, 1 of which produced a wicket. Henry Hudson took a wicket first ball thanks to an excellent stumping from Euan Thomas. Wickets fell regularly for Matthew Ealey, Jack Williams, Anirudh Suresh, Henry Kingston and Joe Burslem as St Margaretsbury were bowled out for a meagre 54.
The 3 players who hadn't bowled were place at the top of the order but only Euan Thomas (36no) and Liam Sumner (14no) were required as they passed the target in only 5.4 overs.
This was a clear demonstration of what this side can achieve if they focus on the job.
