Two's start strong

Having lost the toss, the 2's were put into bat. Notable performances by Travis Hussain (43) Paul Reed (43) Grant Gillard (31) and Matt Pike (30) saw them reach 212-9 off 40 overs.

In reply, once the first couple of wickets fell, it was clear that our attack was going to be too strong. Travis Hussain and Craig Bassingthwaighte picking up 2 quick wickets each, helped seal the victory with Buckhurst Hill being bowled out for 110 in 21.5 overs. Sam Howlett got his reward for a good opening spell coming back on to take the final wicket.
