Phew!
With the obvious exceptions, this was a very young team who can be proud of a great achievement.
Mentions in dispatches go to our U16's and U19's who led the way.
Joe Burslem opened the batting in both games and scored 44 off 27 in first and 32 off 21 in second game (against really tight bowling). He also took an excellent catch under pressure.
Joe Hawkins scored 24 (off 18) in second game again against really good bowling and was out off penultimate ball (for 2nd day running) and kept well.
Matt Pike bowled well and took a fine catch in the first game.
One for the trophy cabinet! But it's just a start as we look forward to the Area Finals where we will play the Essex Premier League Champions -

The winners of this match will play a Final later in the day against the Middlesex Cricket League Champions - North Middlesex CC or the East Anglian Premier League Champions - Cambridge Grant CC who contest the other Semi-Final.
