Overseas Signing

We are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of Zimbabwean international Roy Kaia for the 2024 season.

Kaia replaces original signing Henry Hunt who is not able to join us due to injury. We wish Henry a speedy recovery.

A top order batsman, Kaia has been one of Zimbabwe’s most profile all rounders in domestic cricket back home.

In 2021 he received a test call up and top scored on debut with 48 off 94 against the touring Pakistan team and has played 3 tests.

Since his domestic debut Kaia has racked up over 6,000 runs and 180 wickets across the three formats.

Kaia has already had spells in the UK with Haverigg CC and Bognor CC along with a brief stint in Denmark at Svanholm Cricketklub.

We look forward to welcoming Roy to Cricketfield Lane for our 2024 campaign.
