Following the success of the BSCC Ladies Team last year in achieving 3rd place in the Women’s Cricket Southern League Premier league, a second Ladies Team has been entered in the Collins League in 2018 and will play 40 over games against 7 teams from Hertfordshire, Essex and North and West London on a home and away basis.

The Premier Ladies league fixtures start in July up to September 9th, however they are planning to have a T20 cricket in the early months of the season.

We are delighted to confirm Charlotte Edwards will be with us for a second season. Unfortunately her appearances were limited last season due to injury and commentating on the Women’s World Cup but she is hoping to be available more in 2018, both coaching and playing.

We hope this will give an added boast to women’s cricket at Bishop's Stortford at a very exciting time in its development.

Last season when we held a girl’s coaching session we were overwhelmed in the response with over 60 turning up, so we feel confident of entering Under 12 and Under 14 teams into the Hertfordshire League competitions. Any girls who are 15 or above can still get involved by joining the senior teams.

Practise and coaching will begin on Sunday January 14 th (up to 25 March) at Bishop's Stortford College Sports Hall (Cost £5 per session or £40 if paid in one go).

Girls will train from 5pm – 6pm and Ladies from 6pm – 7pm.
