The BT Cricket Academy is delighted to invite you to join its 2024 winter pre-season COLTS ACADEMY, running from January to March. The aim is to fine tune young cricketers (U10 - U14) and fully prepare them for the new season.

With the same 12 kids and the same 2 qualified coaches every week, these sessions will offer ‘person centred training and coaching’, which ‘larger group sessions’ are simply unable to provide.

The programme will consist of 12 weekly sessions running from the beginning of January until the end of March. These sessions will be tailored to each individual's needs and will focus on maximising their skills in all 3 aspects of the game.

Head Coach Ben Twohig spent 6 winters as a professional cricketer for Worcestershire and he knows exactly ‘how’ to improve players during the off season. Players need to ‘hit the ground running’ and be ready for the 2024 Summer season!

Ben Twohig - Head Coach: Specialising in Batting and Spin Bowling. Level 2 Coach with experience of professional cricket. Extensive overseas cricket experience.

Matt Pike - Fast Bowling Coach: Level 2 Coach, Opening Bowler for BSCC 1XI.

The sessions will run as follows:-

MONDAYS 5.30 – 7.30pm: 12 sessions (Monday 8 January until Monday 25 March incl.) OR
WEDNESDAYS 5.30 – 7.30pm: 12 sessions (Wed 10 January until Wed 27 March incl.)

COST = £360 to cover all 12 weeks of sessions = equivalent to £30 per 2 hour session.

- The 3 hour sessions are split by age groups.

- AM = U10/11/12’s & PM = U13/14/15’s

- Max 12 kids

- £40 per session (3 hours)

- Venue: Boys High Sports Hall - max 12 kids

In addition to the Academy sessions, we are also hosting another “indoor tournament” for up to 4 teams (U10 - U14's) on Thursday 22 February. 2 teams already booked in.
