BSCC U12 vs North Enfield

It was another convincing win for the U12s today against North Enfield.

We chose to bowl first and started well with Paddy Ainsworth-Ledwidge and Lucas Dordoy bowling the first 4 overs for just 4 runs, with Lucas taking a wicket. Harry Pigram then managed to take 2 wickets for 0 runs in his first 2 overs for BSCC! Wickets continued to fall throughout the 20 overs with everyone getting a couple of overs each. There were wickets for Lucas, Harry (2), Thomas Greenhill (2), Ben Foster and Luca Barnes. North Enfield finished with 61-7 off their 20 overs.

We had a bit of a wobble at the start of our chase, losing Ben and Harry in the first 4 overs however Henry Hawkins and Charlie Laking combined to put on 50 together to take us easily to our target. Henry finished with 20*, Charlie with 21*.

Overall, it was a very good team performance. Next up is Springfield away on Sunday in the BTT.
