BSCC U12 vs North Enfield (A)

BSCC U12As continued their excellent start to the season, completing a 10 wicket win at North Enfield.

We won the toss, with Ben Foster electing to bowl. Once again, Paddy Ainsworth-Ledwidge and Lucas Dordoy set the tone fantastically, with them both bowling 4 overs for less than 10 runs and taking a wicket each. The wickets continued to fall a regular intervals as all our players got a chance to bowl. A wicket each for Jamie Ward and Ben Foster, along with a few run outs meant we ended up bowling North Enfield out for 59, with Thomas Greenhill taking the best figures (2 wickets for 4 runs).

I set our openers the task of winning the game by 10 wickets which Ben Foster and Charlie Laking took and completed. A slightly lacklustre start ended up with both boys hitting a couple of excellent boundaries each to win the game, Charlie finishing with 27* and Ben with 23*.

It was another great team performance in which all the boys contributed to the win. We hope to to continue the good start at home to Sawbo next Wednesday!
