Hertford Too Strong

We took a strong team to Hertford but came unstuck against a hard hitting home team who coasted to 182 for 5 from their 20 overs. Knowing how to bat on their home patch we fed their key batsmen; 3 of which retired at 40. They hit 27 boundaries including 6 maximums and smashed a neighbour's window. Our fielding stood up to the pressure with Archie, Thomas and Max taking good catches.

When batting we were unable to match the hitting of the Hertford team and were never in a position to challenge their total. Good knocks from Prajwal (22), Kieran (12) and Ed Swift (18) aside we limped to 104 all out from 20 overs.

All played with a good spirit.
