Well done and thanks from all at the club goes to Archie Pyle for a successful fundraising evening which he organised as part of his Young Leaders in Cricket course.

Archie’s quiz evening raised over £700 for the club which is one great news story. With thanks to all who supported Archie running the evening and those that attended and helped raise this tremendous sum.

The leadership course is a great initiative by the ECB and involves a number of training requirements completed over the last year - volunteering, fundraising, courses in first aid, grounds keeping, umpiring & scoring.

The purpose of the programme is to give young people between the ages of 14 and 16 the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop leadership skills that will allow them to volunteer within their cricket club and/or school.
