Square Refresh To Schedule

The close season has seen plenty of time, attention and hard work (and money) put into refreshing both squares at Cricketfield Lane.

A top layer to a depth of 25mm has been removed from both squares which weighed in at 10 tons - with 8 tons of new topsoil returned before being reseeded.

Warm weather in October has promoted good grass (and hopefully root) growth with current activity focused on giving both squares a trim or two.

It’s quite the green top at the moment with excellent new grass cover and all the signs are good for next season.
